Here are reviews from a few guitar performances:

San Mateo County Times
"The program was 'Concierto de Aranjuez' The soloist, a modest Michael Bautista won the audience's heart with his interpretation as he made the guitar strings sing. His performance of the second movement alone, an exquisitely soft and lyrical elegy, was worth the price of admission and establishes him as a major musical interpreter on the instrument."

San Francisco Classical Guitar Voice
In quite another direction was Michael Bautista's ass-kicking electric guitar account from Bach's E major Violin Partita - a performance that should have been subtitled 'every teenage violinist's secret fantasy.' I often come out of a concert thinking 'I wish I could do that,' but not always in such spirit. Was it cool that Bautista was also the dexterous acoustic guitar second soloist in the Brandenburg? Why yes it was."

Guitar Review - Issue 130
Regarding Bautista's debut performance at Carnegie Hall "A rare performance of Denisov's Sonata [was] where Bautista's playing came alive."
